Fonda SILK Caftan

Fonda SILK Caftan features a caftan dress with feminine shirt details. It has an open V-neck and a placket at front with mother of pearl buttons. The caftan has delicate pleated frills along both sides of the placket at front. It has side seam pockets and a curved hemline with triangle-shaped gussets at side slits.

This unique item is made from a beautiful upcycled silk sari handpicked by SISSEL EDELBO. The sari has been worn by an Indian woman, which means that smaller imperfections, such as small stains and loose threads, will occur. However, to us these imperfections are the garment’s unique beauty flaws. They reflect the life and the love that the previous owner has added to the fabric. Each garment is one of a kind, and as part of its charm, you may notice differences in the prints and colors between the front and back of the piece.
