Wenke Dress

Wenke Dress is a voluminous long dress made in striped leftover seersucker. It has wide long balloon sleeves with a small cuff. The neckline is squared at the front and back. The dress has gathers along the waistline, which create the shape. The dress is decorated with intricate floral and heart motifs, crafted from a mix of embroidery and beadwork, and embroidered scallop edges.

At SISSEL EDELBO, we love to find new, innovative ways to make fashionable clothes. One way is to use leftover fabrics found in markets and in our supplier’s stockrooms, also called ‘deadstock fabrics’. As part of our values, we cherish the idea of using different kind of existing leftover fabrics instead of producing new materials. Our styles made in the leftover fabrics will always be limited edition, due to the limited fabric amount that is left.
