Pil Shirt

Pil Shirt has a loose, straight-fit body with wide shoulders, made from leftover cotton fabric in yarn-dyed stripes. It features long, regular sleeves with cuffs, a classic shirt collar, and a front placket with button closure. The curved bottom hem adds a soft finish, and a single chest pocket is placed on the left side. The shirt is beautifully decorated with charming motifs, such as a lion, a bird, and a cute donkey, crafted from a mix of leftover fabrics, solid-colored cotton, and delicate embroidery.

At SISSEL EDELBO, we love to find new, innovative ways to make fashionable clothes. One way is to use leftover fabrics found in markets and in our supplier’s stockrooms, also called ‘deadstock fabrics’. As part of our values, we cherish the idea of using different kinds of existing leftover fabrics instead of producing new materials. Our styles made in the leftover fabrics will always be limited edition, due to the limited fabric amount that is left.
